Robert Francis, Jr. is best known for conducting free-fall experiments with magnets with them showing abnormal and unexpected results.
RFJ earned a degree in Computer Science from Fairfield University in 2002. Since then he has often worked around web design, search engine optimization, ecommerce stores, Wordpress and Bootstrap.
RFJ's first exposure to ufology, outside the X-Files, was the Disclosure Project Press Club Briefing in 2001 which had as one of its witnesses, Mark McCandlish. McCandlish had a large diagram of Govt/MIC built UFO called the "Alien Reproduction Vehicle" also known as the "Fluxliner". It was seeing this witness and his presentation that changed RFJ's life forever.
Without an engineering degree and during a time with a less developed internet RFJ floundered in trying to design and build a Biefeld-Brown effect capacitor and Marx generator to power it. At that point he stepped back from attempting to replicate the Fluxliner's components. He chose instead to write a hard science fiction book called Forbidden Technology Revealed in the mid to late 2010s. After this he wrote another book, this one non-fiction about the Alcubierre warp drive that he reached out to academia with. A physics professor he did not know from Fairfield U. encouraged him to find funding and conduct the experiment and then write an academic paper on it.
It was around this time he came across Boyd Bushman in the documentary "From Here to Andromeda" by David Sereda. In the documentary, Bushman, a Lpckheed Martin Senior Scientist claimed magnets fall at different rates than ordinary objects and that two repulsively coupled magnets will fall slower than an ordinary object. He found that interesting but filed it away not seeing its utility in aerospace propulsion just Earth to orbit propulsion systems.
At this point RFJ became aware of Falcon Space and APEC (Alternative Propulsion Engineering Project). APEC had a strong interest in the ARV having interviewed Mark McCandlish themselves. A team affiliated with APEC named Exodus Propulsion headed by a former NASA electrostatics engineer was already working on a BBE capacitor called the Exodus Effect (same idea, different name) so RFJ decided to combine Bushman's claims about magnets with McCandlish's claims that the ARV had an electromagnetic coil around the circumference of the craft and conduct an exhaustive series magnet free-fall experiments.
In order to be thorough RFJ conducted experiments with magnets in all four possible combinations, two repulsively coupled magnets in NS/SN and SN/NS), and two attractively coupled magnets falling either in the direction of its North to South pole or South to North pole. All trials showed free-fall acceleration rates very close to the non-magnetic Control object consisting of steel fender washers, 9.8m/s2 with one exception.
Time and time again the magnet object moving in the direction of its North to South pole reached acceleration rates of almost 11m/s2 over a two meter drop as measured by an onboard accelerometer. From that point the experiments got more and more sophisticated and fine tuned leading up to the dual drop experiment, Mark 11, conducted from a dropbox suspended from the basket of a 50ft boomlift and video taped with a 4k@60fps camera livestreamed to YouTube.
Bushman made claims of a magnet object falling slower than normal objects not faster. How does RFJ reconcile this? RFJ Believes Bushman, who had a top secret security clearance, became privy to inertia reduction technology during his time at Lockheed Martin. Such technology would be classified of course and Bushman could never talk about it. So instead he made up a story about a repulsively coupled magnet falling slower in the hopes someone would hear his claims and conduct an exhaustive free-fall experiment with magnets and discover for themselves anomalous acceleration with the magnet moving in the direction of its North to South pole.
Modern science does not know the cause or basis of inertia. We know some things about it, for example standing in a rocket that is accelerating at 9.8m/s2 feels exactly the same as standing on the surface of the Earth. This and related facts are known as the Equivalence Principle.
It is RFJ's hypothesis that inertia is caused by vacuum fluctuations with a magnetic moment. Science knows that the vacuum is not empty as originally thought but consists of vacuum fluctuations such as virtual particle/antiparticle pairs (electrons/positrons) constantly popping in and out of existence. RFJ's experiment would suggest that the magnetic field put out in his magnet moving in the direction of its North to South pole prevents some of those vacuum fluctuations with magnetic moments, such as electrons and positrons, from imparting their energy and increasing the inertial mass of the magnet object.
The Fluxliner's electromagnetic coil around the circumference of the craft is built in such a shape that it would put out a dipole magnetic field, that is, a north and south pole. It stands to reason that the Fluxliner's capacitor engine on the bottom of the craft propels the craft upward and that the electromagnetic coil is configured such that its North pole is on the bottom and its South pole is on the top. This would reduce inertia on the Fluxliner as it accelerates.
